One of my most common requests is for "selective colourisation", an eye-catching effect which involves changing a photo from full colour to black and white, then bringing the colour back into a single element - a single red rose in a bunch of roses, for instance. As anyone who attends my Photoshop Course will learn, this is a relatively simple technique and yet there are companies that will charge several hundred pounds for this effect.
